„Captain”

You are a captain and you steer the ship of your life through the ocean. As a captain you need to have a destination: where are you going, what do you want, and what and when do you want to achieve it. The goals must be clear because that is where your ship is going. It is not easy to achieve chosen destination because there are stormy weathers and winds push you in different directions. But if you don’t have a clear destination you start drifting. Drifting may be pleasant at times because you may come across pleasant pleaces and people, but most of the time drifting brings you nowhere, because you are going nowhere, floating helplessly. The true balance comes when the captain takes a full charge of his ship and realizes that stormy confusions of others are not his own. As much as the captain wants to help, sometimes the only help he can provide to others is to set a great destination for himself and to empower others by setting a good example. The captain is also his own rescue boat. He is not a lone wolf, but he chooses his companions carefully. The journey through the ocean is a challenge, and it is empowering. He chooses companions that lift him up and go to similar destinations. There are moments when captain gets tangled in relationships that wash off his dreams, there are moments when captain gets involved in jobs that don’t fulfill his potential. But captain’s potential is so great that he is not even fully aware of it himself. Deep inside he knows what/where is his destination. He has to rise, grab the steering wheel and go there with unwavering faith… and he will get there, because he is not drifting anymore, not anymore.

‘Meeting’

lovers of destiny
victims of necessity
followers of passion
met
where no expectation is brave enough
when no dream cowardly enough
no pre-constructed decisions apply
and mother of assumption laughs ironically

dreamers in silence
exposed to jokes of fate
taken by surprise
hidden in their eyes
they can see
but how little do they comprehend
dancing to the melody
of music yet to be written
